I went to DisneyLand on V day. gloriously ironic thing to do in the city of love and romance but i enjoyed myself tremendously! I always loved cartoons and the disney characters and how it's possible to just stone in front of the tv and just, not think. Honestly, i do not like people who schemes too much.. it makes me have to scheme against them and i don't like it. where did that come from? haiz, will see.

Anyway, Paris is just a big big city filled with tourists and all. It is over rated here but this experience will last me a lifetime i guess.

DisneyLand Paris! We took the Peter Pan's flight which is sort of cool. I was suspended on a little boat like thing and it cruised thru the peter pan set as if i was peter pan. With occasional tumbles and swerves, it simulates the movements throught the set very well and it was sooo soo soo pretty!

It's a small world after all. That song kept replaying itself throughout the ride called "it's a small world".Surprise! Hahaz, it was amazing inside although i thot i would be expecting a kiddo ride. There were representations from countries from all over the world. Figurines and small sculptures of Egpyt, India, Europe, Usa and all. Very unexpectedly interesting!

The video is here http://www.facebook.com/inbox/readmessage.php?t=68287300714&mbox_pos=0#/video/video.php?v=66230970890.

AR HAR! The Space Mountain Mission 2. The rollercoaster that is and i quote "turbulent, fast, exciting and 360 degrees turning". I froze at the 360 degree thing but i was already halfway inside the tunnel of people queueing up. They say i will be a coward if i leave, which is true. Yong chuen was constantly ka jiaoing me. I was shaking from both the cold and the fear. Lousy pok. The ride was amazing once again. They stopped halfway when the coaster was accending and then it suddenly escalates into an open capsule which reveals the outer environment and then tumbles back into darkness. Not really darkness but with lights and stars. I closed my eyes most of the time and only opens to take a peek, and amidst my screaming, i was like whoa! Damn pretty lights and the speed was tremendous, which explains the screaming from start to end. WHAHAHAHA!

I always knew food is ex in attractions like disney land. But 11 euros for a burger and a drink and fries. Crazily crazy. But the fastfood place was the hugest hugest i have ever seen la. i think it's about 3 times or 4 times our lecture theatres back in nus.

Continued on to Pirates of the carribean which was mostly dark to create the effect. We were busy clicking away when suddenly the boat lunged into a small waterfall. First instinct, keep the cameras! The frenzy was funny.

Indiana Jones. It was supposed to be a low level thrill ride until we got into the queue and got closer. First, we saw the sudden pitfalls in thrill rides that was like so steep. nvm. Then we continued to queue and suddenly we saw, a 360 degrees turn AGAIN! I was like "did you guys see wad i saw?" to the stunned looks behind. Oh wells, all for good fun we went up AGAIN.

Highlight of the day is the PARADE! I saw the princesses, the Lion King, Alice in wonderland, mickey and minnie! all my loves from childhood.

1 month into paris and my sentiments. I am alright, not overly excited but happy with a slight change although i miss my family and the little luxuries back at home. In france, everything is slow. slow transport, slow service, slow this slow that. Everything takes a damn long time! but i get used to it, used to doing admin on my own, dealing with people that i dun really fancy and planning weekend getaways to other countries in 3 days.

p.s. things are getting better. i think!
