I received the first 21st b'day card on 1st may.. more than 1 month in advance from tan in australia! Hahaz, i was planning to leave my house to study at holland v when i saw the card.. Oh wells, i expected the card but den was still touched=) It's surprising how those who were closer to you in your sec days may not be the ones that you will be close to when we grow up. Me and tan are virtually in 2 different cliques, classes and ccas.. but den, frenship is a bizarre thing. It can come and go quickly, and only some will stay to last.
I have frens who were close for a period of time and i thought it will be a permanent thing. But den, circumstances may not be such.. and after a while, i tend to not make new frens that will last. It's inevitable. However, it's usually the frens whom i dun see often.. whom i dun go to school with or eat lunch with that i miss the most and they are the ones who know what i need, when i need. Another fren told me before that that sometimes we just need someone to agree with us, to know wad we are and to talk like we do.
So! tks for the card and it really warms me amidst all that's going on in my life here and your life there. It's good to know that if i need to talk, there is always someone for me to talk to.. who will listen when i need it. And of cos, i'll be there to listen to you as well. A good frenship that i know will last all the way when yun qi and yue qi appear (you know who they are *winks*)=)
