The first post of 2008! Where has my 2007 gone to?
The year of the 20s.. the year when i finished my year 1 and went on to year 2.. the year when i went to France and went crazy.. the year when i did carolling and baking as holiday jobs.. the year when i took up kickboxing and went aching into 2008..
Hahaz, nice summary of 2008 eh. Ok, one at a time..
I turned 20 last year and soon 21 in 6 months.. Well, didnt feel older or anything but with the constant reminders from my still-woefully-younger cousins, I start to realise i'm no longer a TEEN! BUT! wadever, i'm still younger than the guys in my batch..
A new year calls for new year resolutions and i have quite a few in mind..
Next, yupz i have officially finished by year 1 in NUS and on to year 2.. and gg to finish by then as well.. Mixed feelings.. Hehe",
Third? Hahaz, i went to France.. Paris! The city of graffiti and wad-nots.. didnt really like Paris but LOVE Lyon! That was where i went for my immersion with a few crazy pple.. Honestly, i didnt think much when i was gg to France, didnt even bother about the would-be language problem until i saw my host family.. Hahaz, i still remember the first sentence i said to them was "J'ai peur".. which means i'm scared. That's like such a weird introduction and everything was great.. Met a group of very fun people and had fun over there. I even spent my 20th b'day there although tt day was the first day of school in Lyon. It's surprising how we can get along quite well but it's probably due to circumstances as well.. So, my most interesting trip of 2007! TADA!
Holiday jobs? X'Mas carolling jobs at malls.. I was quite nervous at first cause there are only 6-8 pple carolling.. Come on, who wont be right? And, we barely had time to practise.. But all went well, or rather after the first few sessions, i just resign to standing on the stage and start singing no matter whether i feel like it or not.. So, dun think i want to hear "Dashing thru the snow.. in a one horse open sleigh" so soon.. Hahaz..
Oh, and working at a doggy bakery is quite interesting but tiring sometimes.. Well, all in the name of fun",
Last but not least.. Hahaz, i took up kickboxing! i thot i just have to kick around and play around with some aerobics moves, but i was like peng-ing after 10 mins of the first lesson la.. And i enter 2008 with an aching back.. and still aching while i'm typing.. Geez, have to admit that i'm old already.
2008! The year of 21s.. my plans? Hopefully spend it with family and frens but not a party! I cannot imagine trying to entertain 10 groups of different people from different places, with no time to actually enjoy the party.. Hahaz, why work myself so hard on my 21st right? I rather take a backpack and go somewhere with my family or with a group of frens..
BUT! Presents! I still remember the bunch of people who conveniently forgot about my cake, presents and wadever cause i was in France! I expect something huge from them this year so i'm not running anywhere for the entire month of June, I WILL BE CONTACTABLE! Hahaz, oh did i mention my lecture mates?
Lecture mates are as follow:
-->Esther (Smart arse with super high cap with a super duper dunnoe-wad brain; my jc classmate whom i rarely see since i wasnt in school)
-->Ruijun (stoning, stoner, a stone; This woman practically stones anytime of the day and laughs when she feels like it)
-->Chaomian (Char-mee; another smart ass who lives in the library perpetually and i mean that literally, with a common sense that is more like a sense of humour to us)
-->Andrew (Goh, i mean Andrew goh; this guy is the bane of my life! Suans me like nobody's business but it's worse when he is nice to me, i cringe..)
-->Donnavan (i spelt his name as donnovan for 1 and a half yrs and realised it's wrong.. still in my hp; understudying Andrew for the purpose stated above and my lab partner)
-->Guanrui (nice guy Mr nice very nice BUT! I suspect he is applying for the same position as Donnavan)
TADA! My lecture pple.. Should i go on to my immersion pple? Heck, just do it! Nothing to do also.. This the season to be jolly..
*Shimin* Idiot gal who always has a gossip at her fingertips and toetips.. Very gd at designing but displays none of her talent in cooking.. NONE! Burning a pot with dried maggie mee.. Imagine!
*Michelle* Pretty gal, dancer but super duper like a lil kid.. Shant say some of the stuffs she says but has something to do with Pokemon "i choose you"..
*Xueli* BULLDOZER! she's a very hyperactive sleeper.. rolls on everyone in her 1 mile radius vicinity
*wan ying* poor gal bullied by 4 chem engin guys.. Cute voice and well versed in swear words. Wahahah!
*Jeron* Mr nice also..i mean sometimes and that's before we know him.. Can talk to practically everyone and super smart.. cap somewhere near the clouds.. *staring into the sky*
*Ben* bf of someone i just mentioned.. quiet guy.. Bullshit.. Hahaz, before we know him at least he was a quiet guy..
*Jian Hua* I hate him! No la, i didnt like him at first cause he kept trying to copy in tests..and didnt bother to hide it.. nice guy but feels like slapping him 10^10 times a day.
*Zhijian* LAME! LAME! LAME! His jokes can freeze Singapore 10 times over.. and with his joke book pressie, it seemed to get worse..
