1 litre of tears, I have watched this show about 1 month ago and cried from the 2nd episode to the last episode. This story tells of a girl who was diagnosed with spinocellebular atrophy, which means her nerve cells are slowly degenerating and will result in difficulties in walking and finally being bed-ridden. The girl, in real life, has always wanted to help the society but was restricted by her condition.... however, in the end, the fact that she held on and fight the disease was wad pushed many pple to think about their lives, their healths and tt we are all only humans. Life can be so glamorous to the extent of being materialistic sometimes for some people, but this show (adapted from her diary entries) brings many pple back to the humility that we are merely humans and have no power over wad will happen. What we can control is to empower our lives and live to the fullest! Everytime i hear the theme song, Only Human, i have an urge to cry. The girl was forced to accept each stage of her life that was compromised by the progressive disease. Being alive alone is so wonderful, that's wad she said..... it makes out small discontents in life even more insignificant. Yesterday, someone that i saw on monday for a dinner at my host family's frens' house just passed away. I dint know him for more than a week but the mere fact that a person can just leave this world like tt shocks me..... the only comfort is that he is a christian and tt he will get to see HIM! this is quite a sad post but just felt like saying all this.....
